Mar - Jun 2020 | In order to make my Graphic Designer services available to those who would like to have a stand out resume, I have programmed a website to allow these people to place an order with me. I also use this site to showcase all the resumes I have already designed.
In this project, I used Adobe XD software to start designing the site, then I programmed it with CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript and PHP. I worked a lot on the design to make the site easily understandable and I worked a lot on the code to make the information easily conveyed.
The site is available here.
Sep 2019 - Jun 2020 | After almost 1 and a half years of work we were able to present the alpha 3.0 version of our game The German Track to our end of year jury. The objective here was to work on a game as a team and then present it on June 12, 2020 to a jury of professionals.
During this project, I worked as a Game Designer, Support Game Programmer, and Producer. I also worked on the communication of the game as Graphic Designer and Community Manager on social networks (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram).
I used Hack'n'Plan and Discord logo software as well as Google Drive, Google Document, Google Sheet, and Google Form so that I could always have a good organization in the project and that each pole could move forward quickly and simultaneously. For the programming, I used the C# language on the Unity software. And finally, for my role in communication, you can find all the information here.
With my other buddies (Dylan Brousse, Martin Michaud, Lucas Lopez, Jerôme Yven, and more recently Benjamin Lapujade who joined us as a Game Programmer, as well as Anaïs Blineau, Jordan Gay, Wiliam Pied, and Logan Turcot who were our QA Tester), we were able to release the alpha 3.0 that we presented to 9 juries of professionals who congratulated us and gave us a score of 18/20. After that we started the research to find a publisher and finish the game.
In this a3.0 version, we play as Kenneth, a private detective who has to investigate the death of a young woman. While continuing in the investigation he will find himself involved in a darker case that will put him on the trail of the German ...
The complete game has 4 chapters, and this version contains the first chapter and a bonus tutorial chapter ahead of chapter 1. Eventually, the player will be able to play as 2 other characters with other abilities: a spy and a hitwoman. All 3 characters will be on the same track of the German.
The game is played with the keys Q and D to move, SHIFT to run, E to interact, and SPACE to clear the links in the board. Then with the mouse to click on the notebook.
Once you have tested the game, you can give us feedback and bugs back here : https://forms.gle/bWR2BssQuSbfM7YP6. Thanks! :)
May 2020 | In order to play on the promotion of the game, I set up posts on social networks (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) in order to communicate about the news of our game.
In this project I used Adobe Photoshop software to create eye-catching and talking visuals, and I wrote all the posts with the goal of getting clear messages across to potential customers.
Feb 2020 | With a classmate, a first year student, and a sound design student we formed a group of 4 at the Global Game Jam 2020 which was my first Game Jam. The theme that time was "Fix it". From the evening of Friday, January 31, 2020 to the afternoon of Sunday, February 2, 2020, we had nearly 48 hours to create a game from scratch.
In Fatal Error, the game loses gets broken and the mechanics disappear. Through consoles scattered throughout the game, the player will have to repair these mechanics in order to finish the game.
During this project my role was Game Designer, Game Programmer (in C# on Unity), and Level Designer. In order to complete this project and make it in time, we quickly brainstormed to find a concept, then divided the tasks, always keeping an eye on the work of others to move forward quickly in symbiosis.
It was a very enriching experience for me. During these 48 hours, team spirit, rigor, communication, and concentration were extremely important elements. Moreover, spending these days with other video game enthusiasts who were also very motivated was a real pleasure.
You can find the Game Jam page here.
Nov 2019 | With the Game Summit coming up and my games Neo Vigrid and The German Track being presented, I had to prepare flyers and business cards for Neo Vigrid, posters and business cards for The German Track, and business cards for myself.
To do this, I used a combination of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign software.
Sep - Nov 2019 | In order to promote our game, I designed and programmed the whole website. I used html, css, js, and php, after having drawn the design on Adobe XD.
While trying to stay in the tones of the game, I tried to create a welcoming and readable site. I also integrated a newsletter system with SendGrid and photo albums.
Jun 2019 | Here I decided to draw myself an avatar that would represent my character on the internet. So I first drew a portrait on paper, adding details that represented me, like a helmet, a sweater, a bun... I then redrew my avatar on computer with Illustrator, then I added the colors of my choice, and for the shades and the shadows I used Photoshop.
May - Jun 2019 | During this project, we had 2 months to make a game and present a part of the game to a jury. So we chose, in our group of 4, to present to the jury the first part of our game as a "demo".
In this project, I mainly managed the team's production, and I also programmed some features in C# on Unity, with the help of Dylan Brousse. The pixel art was entirely done by Martin Michaud and Lucas Lopez and we asked Jérome Yven, sound designer, to do the music.
In this demo, we play as Kenneth, a private detective who has to investigate the death of a young woman. As he continues his investigation he will get involved in a darker case that will put him on the trail of the German...
The full game has 9 chapters, and the game is very simple.
The complete game has 9 chapters, and he will be able to play as 2 other characters with other abilities: a spy and a hitwoman. All 3 characters will be on the same track of the German.
The game is played with the keys Q and D to move, SHIFT to run, E to interact, and SPACE to clear the links in the board. Then with the mouse to click on the notebook.

Feb - May 2019 | In order to show my skills, experiences, portfolio, and contact information, I designed and programmed my own website from scratch.
I first sketched a design with Adobe XD, then I started the programming in html, css, js, and php.
For the portfolio part, I used a mysqlite database that I integrated in php. I also used a parallax in js for the first screen of my site.
May 2019 | Following a request from a programmer friend, I created a new resume design. I used InDesign software to do it and I used his LinkedIn profile to fill it in. I also created a sample version to show only the design of this project.
Mar 2019 | As part of my web design course, I had to create a website using links to other pages. So I chose to make a quiz where each question has a different approach. For example I put hidden links, buttons that change when you click on them...
See the quiz.
Feb 2019 | Still with the help of InDesign, I updated the design of my resume with the new skills I acquired.
Jan 2019 | As part of our web design course, we had to designate 5 screensavers - that is, screens displayed while a site is loading.
Among these sites we had to realize 2 interactive screensavers on which we can interact to pass the time, and 3 screensavers without interractions.
To realize them I used css animations, buttons, a time counter, images positioned at different places, ... I used html5, css3, and javascript.
Given the very short time I had to make these screensavers, I favored technique over beauty. That is, I preferred to put functional mechanics before using pretty assets.

Jan 2019 | In this workshop we had to - in groups of 2 - create a card game for mobile. We did all the programming and the drawings in 1 week and the game is played on computer, although it was thought for mobile.
In this project I did all the programming part on Unity (Playmaker), while my partner (Eloise "Linagur" GUR) did the drawings, everything that was concept and writing of the game/script was done by both of us.
In this game you play a young knight who lives his own adventure, randomly generated or almost, and you can fall on one of the available endings, it's up to you to discover all the facets of the game!
The game is played only with the mouse, as it was designed from the ground up to be played on mobile.
In the long run we want AdventureCard to have more varied dialogues, NPCs, a trading system with merchants, an inventory system (with chests opening only if you have the right key), more interactions with the final dragon, and sounds.
Nov - Dec 2018 | We had to draw a 2D plateformer in groups of 5. Here we chose an aquatic universe with a cartoon graphic style. We each had one element to draw: the decor, the platforms, the bonuses, the enemies, and the player character.
In this project I played the role of project manager: I managed the deadlines and motivated the 4 other members of my team to hand in their part of the work on time. I then created the final folder with everyone's moodboards and final renderings.
I also did all the design of the player character. I chose, after a few different tries, to make a character wearing a diver's suit and a scuba suit. I first drew my concepts on paper, then I chose one with the agreement of my team, which I then drew from 3/4, and I took it back to Adobe Illustrator with a graphic tablet. For the colors I used Adobe Photoshop.
Dec 2018 | In 2 days I had to realize, on Unreal Engine 4, an environment in which the player can walk around and feel 3 different contrasts along his visit of the environment. In order to give you the opportunity to guess yourself the contrasts I wanted to put in place, I only detail them in the last paragraph, which you can come and see after playing the game for the first time if you wish.
To make this project I used free assets found on the Unreal Engine store. I then arranged them in the map to make the player feel what I wanted him to feel. So here I focused on the level building / level environment. The game is very short because I made it in 2 days so I didn't have time to make something bigger and fuller.
The controls in this game are only the keyboard (ZQSD Space) and the mouse to move around.
Oct - Nov 2018 | With 4 of my friends (Bastien "Kaldrin" BERNAND, Eloise "Linagur" GUR, Clément COLMERAUER, and Martin MICHAUD) we made a board game on the theme of resurrection.
Before finding our final concept, we have tested and destroyed many concepts without ever getting discouraged and giving up. In the end, Neo Vigrid is a turn-based strategy and combat game in which two players each embody a cyberpunk Viking clan whose goal is to eliminate the opposing clan by recapturing its own units that died in battle and preventing the opponent from doing the same.
Indeed, in Neo Vigrid each player has units and buildings to arrange on the field. Each turn is divided into 3 phases: a resurrection phase, a movement phase, and an attack phase. Every 5 turns the Ragnarök happens and all units on the board die. Players have a currency, souls, which they use to resurrect their units and which they obtain by soul sinks, by the death of units, or other. To know the details of the rules of Neo Vigrid I leave you the rule booklet below.

Nov 2018 | For this project we had 3 weeks to create a real Twin Stick Shooter ( / Shoot'em Up ) with simple shapes only, using Unreal Engine 4.
For this project I was with Victor CALLOT and Medhi RUCHE, and I participated in the game design with my classmates, and I also wrote the market analysis document and the game design document, and I realized the programming and the design of the main menu.
The game controls are displayed after starting the game. You launch the game with the mouse and then you have the choice between a keyboard/mouse gameplay and a controller gameplay.
Jun 2018 | In group of 4, we had 1 month to create an escape game. My role in this project was to create most of the documents to communicate between the people in the group, and the interfaces and 2D designs. I also participated in the game design of the game, the voice editing in the game, and the dubbing of the female character.
I worked on this project with Alexandre PASERO, Lucas UNY and Alexis CLEMENT.
The keys to play are indicated at the launch of the game, and the objectives are indicated verbally throughout the game. The main objective is to help the two characters to get out of the crashed ship alive.
Jun 2018 | Following a friend's request, I created a new resume design. I used InDesign software to do it and I used his LinkedIn profile to fill it in. I also created an example version to show only the design of this project.
May 2018 | Following the first version of my CV, I realized a few months later a second graphic version of it.
Feb - Mar 2018 | With 3 of my friends (Martin MICHAUD, Victor CALLOT, and Quentin DE ROLAND) we had to create a TCG (Trading Card Game). We chose to start with a mafia theme, and to have the players each play a godfather who attacks each other with their mafia. We finished the project by making two decks, one balanced, and the other with cards having bigger attacks but costing more.
In order to balance the game, we did a lot of blank games, that is, we took cards from other games or pieces of paper and invented the content of the cards we were putting down. This way we could find and balance the main mechanics of our game. We then drafted cards with the main mechanics that we had and we could balance the number of cards and the secondary and tertiary mechanics. I then took care of designing the cards.
Since the game is physical, I can't have you test it digitally, but I can show you the rules of the game.
Click here to see the rules.
Mar 2018 | In groups of 4, we had to create characters and landscapes about the Viking universe. My role was to draw a hermit.
I started by proposing different hermit drawings, with the help of my classmate Bastien "Kaldrin" BERNAND who drew me the hermit's body shapes.
Thereafter, I showed these drawings to my comrades who chose two models, which I then took back and remade different versions of the two chosen models. I then showed my models one last time to my classmates, who chose a final model that I depicted in larger size and color.
Feb - Mar 2018 | Using InDesign, I made a first version of my own resume. I was inspired by the different resumes I found on the internet to make my own.
Feb 2018 | I had to create, in 2 hours, a simple shooter on Unity (Playmaker). Given the period, I wanted to work on the theme of Valentine's Day. So I created my own designs on Photoshop and programmed the game simply.
To play, you just have to click on the angels in yellow, while avoiding the devils in red. Each angel gives you 1 point, while a devil takes away 1 point.
Feb 2018 | My goal was to recreate a poster through Illustrator. I used all the techniques I knew in Illustrator: like the pen, the design of shapes, and others.
Feb 2018 | I had to create the design of an Error 404 page. You can find the web rendering here, although the buttons don't lead to anything yet.
I used Photoshop here to create the effects on the texts. I also wanted to add an animation effect on the text, but I only had two hours to come up with ideas and make this project.
Feb 2018 | Here I had to create a cover for a made up game. I chose to create a GameBoy Color game cover entitled "Luigi's Revenge".
I used a GameBoy Color cover template and Photoshop software to make this project, along with images found on the internet.
Jan 2018 | When I started to create my portfolio on the internet, I chose to create a logo for myself as well.
I chose for this design to combine a joystick and a paintbrush, which represent for me video games and creation, and thus Game Design.
I used here the Illustrator pen in order to make my strokes, and joystick and brush templates that I was inspired by.
Jan 2018 | With two of my friends (Pierrot PRADELLE and Alexandre FOUCRET) we made a pinball machine on the theme of Super Smash Bros in only one week.
In the version presented here I chose not to put the 3d models we made because in one week I did not have time to fix all the bugs they generated.
In the version presented here I chose not to put the 3d models we made because in one week I did not have time to fix all the bugs they generated. So I put the prototype version of the pinball programming, which works much better.
To play, you just use the Q and D or <- and -> keys to operate the right and left paddles of the pinball machine.
On the screen you can see in the top left the number of balls left to the player, in the top center the record on this session, and in the top right the score of the current game.
Dec 2017 | I had to realize an invented alien plant, and inspired by elements found on the internet.
I made several plant heads, several leaves, several shapes, and finally I chose a shape that I made in volume, in color, and in an environment.
Dec 2017 | In order to discover some facets of the Illustrator software, I created 6 different monsters from my imagination.
I then inserted them in a poster made with Photoshop.
Dec 2017 | Passionate about Disney and minimalist design, I decided to represent some of the most famous characters of the Disney universe in a minimalist style.
For this I was inspired by images taken directly from the animated films and I redesigned them in my own way with Illustrator.
Dec 2017 | I made here a catch game, that is to say a game where you have to catch objects and avoid others. I chose to use a hat to represent the player and bowling balls for the target.
The game was made on Unity software (with Playmaker) and with the assets given by Unity.
To play, you must only use the mouse to move the hat. Your goal is to score as many points as possible within the time limit. To do this you must catch the bowling balls while avoiding the bombs.
Dec 2017 | I had to make a brick breaker with the theme of my choice. I chose the Mario theme because I thought it fit the game genre super well.
So I used the bricks already existing in the Mario license as well as the green shells as projectiles. I also used other Mario elements for the bonuses and malus that you will discover when you try the game. The game was made on Unity software (with Playmaker).
Your goal is to break as many bricks as possible in order to earn points.
To play, you just have to move the mouse. The golden bricks are twice as strong. Sometimes you can get bonuses or malus that come down from the bricks, be careful where you position your bar.
Nov 2017 | With the help of a friend (Bastien "Kaldrin" BERNAND) I made this space invaders in memory of the first video games !
In this realization, we took 2D sprites that we had been given, and we had concentrated on the programming that we had shared. We programmed the game on Unity (Playmaker).
Your goal will be to hold as many waves as possible, knowing that the wave levels increase.
To play, use Q and D to move, and SPACE to shoot. Your score is displayed at the bottom left of the screen and your life is represented by three hearts at the bottom right.
Nov 2017 | With the help of a friend (Bastien "Kaldrin" BERNAND) I made this scrolling shooter in memory of the first video games !
In this realization, we took 2D sprites that we had been given, and we had concentrated on the programming that we had shared. We programmed the game on Unity (Playmaker).
In this game your goal is to attack the enemies to get as many points as possible and pass as many waves as possible!
In the game you will find enemies with different shooting patterns, mines, as well as different bonuses that I'll let you discover!
To play, use Z Q S D to move, and SPACE to shoot. Your score is displayed at the top of the screen (with the best score) and your life at the bottom left.
Sep 2017 | After watching the game LaraCroft Go (available on mobile), I drew a video game level in the same style as LaraCroft Go.
I first drew with a pencil on a white sheet of paper. Then I used a half-tone sheet and grease pencils to do the shading. And finally I used Photoshop to put color.
Mar - Jun 2017 | During my final year of high school, I had to realize, within the framework of my BAC test of ISN, a game in the C language that I could learn during this year. So I realized a Mastermind with 2 of my friends. During this project I could be helped by my friends but I programmed most of the game and I took the opportunity to help my friends to understand more about programming.
